Are you seeking a healthy snack or side dish that can be prepared easily in your air fryer? Look no further than Crispy Garlic Parmesan Brussels Sprouts! Simply cooked in your air fryer in just 15 minutes, this recipe boasts a great burstiness of garlic and parmesan flavor that will leave you salivating for more.

Are you still frying your food in a traditional manner? Why not try using an air fryer instead? Not only will this help to preserve the taste of your foods, but it is also a much more healthy approach to cooking, particularly if you are trying to limit the amount of oil you consume.

Brussels sprouts are a perfect vegetable to air fry, as the outer layer crisps up brilliantly while the inside stays tender. And with the added garlic and parmesan, they are sure to be a crowd-pleaser!

While it is possible to roast Brussels sprouts in the oven, they won't have the same level of great flavour and crispness that they achieve in an air fryer. Additionally, cooking time is significantly lower in an air fryer. This recipe was inspired by how delicious Brussel Sprouts are when ordered in a restaurant, hence recreating the same ambiance right at home.

  • Brussels sprouts

  • Olive oil

  • Lemon juice

  • Garlic

  • Parmesan cheese

  • Salt

  • Wash and trim the brussels sprouts. Trim the ends, remove loose leaves, and cut them in half lengthwise for the crispiest texture.

  • Toss 'em. In a medium bowl, toss together trimmed brussels sprouts with olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, and salt. You can add the rest of the parmesan cheese halfway through cooking.

  • Preheat air fryer. Setting it to 375 degrees is recommended.

  • Let's fry! Place brussels sprouts in a single layer in the basket of your air fryer and cook for about 15 minutes. Consider shaking the basket halfway through and sprinkling with additional parmesan cheese for an added texture.

  • Eat. While the crispy flavor is already delicious on its own, feel free to experiment with additional seasonings as needed. You can sprinkle a little more salt, some pepper, even more cheese, or add a lemon zest!

Do you want to double the recipe to make more? Go ahead! However, be sure to cook them in batches in your air fryer so that the brussels sprouts do not get crowded, and you can achieve a crispy texture.

These can be stored in your fridge for about 3 to 4 days and can easily be crisped back up by reheating in your air fryer. Simply set your air fryer to 350 and cook for about 10 minutes for that perfect crunch.

Perhaps you're not a fan of Brussels sprouts. But wait! You haven't tried these Crispy Garlic Parmesan Brussels Sprouts. Trust me. They will knock your socks off. This is the only way my hubby will eat this veggie, so I’m keeping this recipe handy. I have tried to keep these keto and low-carb friendly, but if you want even more of a delicious crunch, try to sprinkle some breadcrumbs before frying!

Did you know that if you have an Instant Pot, you can purchase an attachment that instantly becomes an air-fryer? Very cool, isn't it?
